Welcome, and thank you for entering a very personal chapter of my academic journey.

​

I am Hajjah Lennora Joyce Muti’ah Tia Pierrot-Ansari a wife, mother of nine, author, archivist, community advocate, and doctoral student pursuing a Ph.D. in Integrative Public Policy and Development.

​

For me, education has never existed separately from life. My scholarship has been shaped by motherhood, faith, history, community, service, resilience, and the responsibility to preserve what we learn so that the next generation does not have to begin again.

​

That philosophy is at the heart of The Living Legacy Framework: the understanding that lived experience is not merely something we survive it can become knowledge; knowledge can inform research; research can influence policy; and policy can help transform communities.

​

My book, Embracing Motherly Vibes: Faith with Purpose, represents an important part of that continuum. It documents my journey through motherhood from 1993 to 2025 and reflects upon the faith, sacrifice, challenges, lessons, and love involved in raising nine children. What began as a personal story has become part of a much larger academic inquiry into memory, maternal knowledge, community development, public history, intergenerational learning, and public policy.

 

Today, that journey has brought me to another important threshold.

I am working to raise $6,200 toward my doctoral tuition by selling 248 copies of Embracing Motherly Vibes at $25 each.

This campaign is therefore about more than paying tuition.

It is about demonstrating what happens when story becomes scholarship and scholarship returns to serve the community.

My goal is not simply to earn another degree. My goal is to transform what I have lived, learned, documented, and researched into knowledge that can serve people long after I am gone.
